Blah blah blah. Stuff about me.

After achieving the American dream, complete with a house, 401K, and lucrative career in software engineering, I hit the reset button on life. I sold nearly all of my worldly possessions and spent two years living on the road as part of the Subaru/IMBA Trail Care Crew, teaching people everywhere how to build trails. In that time, I rode in 44 states, 4 provinces, and ate lunch at more gas stations than should be allowed by the FDA.

Now based out of Boulder, Colorado, I spend my time writing about adventure, the outdoors, and people.  My work has appeared in USA Today; Women's Adventure; BIKE Magazine; Bicycling; Paved; and Dirt Rag. I am a senior contributor at BIKE Magazine where my column, Butcher Paper, appears monthly.
